Peanut Butter Cookies

Peanut Butter Cookies
  1. 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  2. 1 cup butter, room temperature
  3. 1 cup packed brown sugar
  4. 1 cup granulated sugar
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  7. ½ teaspoon baking powder
  8. 3 cups all purpose flour
  1. Beat the butter, peanut butter and sugars until combined.
  2. Add eggs and vanilla.
  3. Mix the baking powder and flour together in a separate bowl and then add until all ingredients are combined well.
  4. Roll dough out on floured surface to approximately 5/8 inch (8mm), thicker for a very deep mold.
  5. Dust surface and mold with flour.
  6. Press mold firmly into dough until all cavities are filled.
  7. Remove mold and cut out cookie.
  8. Place on parchment lined baking sheet.
  9. Place molded cookies into refrigerator and cool for at least 20 minutes.
  10. Place baking sheet directly from the refrigerator into the pre-heated oven.  Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 10-13 minutes.
  1. This recipe works the best with molds that do not have fine detail.
