Hello Robert! It’s actually a fluted cookie cutter – not a pan. We use the fluted cutter to get the scalloped edge of the cookie when cutting out the dough before baking the cookie. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask! Thanks, and happy baking!ReplyCancel

I made these cookies this weekend, and words cannot express how fun and delicious they are! Will be making them for my niece’s wedding next year, using the heart-shaped Tree of Life mold. Made the recipe as posted, except I didn’t have the Red Velvet Emulsion, and substituted 2 tablespoons McCormick’s Red Dye plus 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar.ReplyCancel

Made these cookies. Love them!   I thought the dough seemed a little crumbly, but worked out great.  When I took the cookies out of the the oven, the design had pretty much disappeared.  I figured, oh well.  Then, after they cooled there was the beautiful, crisp design again!  Will definitely make again and again.  Thank you.ReplyCancel

many thanks for the tip to place the stamped cookies in the fridge for around 30 minutes. The beautiful lyre pattern maintained the lovely deep impression.
Tasted quite a lot like an apple pie too! Company will love these.ReplyCancel
